Maybe colored brooms and cleaning equipment would appeal to women and help motivate them to clean up the house more for us men?

I have a 1-bdrm apartment and not much storage space. I don't have a broom closet, so right now my regular broom, swiffer sweeper and swiffer mop are just sitting in a corner in the hallway. I would love to not have to look at them, but still have them easy to get to. Any ideas on how to decoratively hide them?

I am needing to buy a new broom and mop and am just looking for some suggestions on what you really liked. Why did you like them? What were the features that you used the most? Why?
